Adventures at the playground

The weather here in MO has finally gotten warm enough to take Jamen to the playground. Jamen is also big enough to explore, which he enjoys very much! The only down side to the playground is the little rocks, however none have been swallowed yet:-)

I think he was being silly in this picture but it has a good view of the tunnel which you can see him crawling through in the next picture.

He really likes crawling in the tunnel, as soon as he makes it out he wants to go back through again.

Jamen enjoys the swing but only for so long and then he's ready to get down and go find a new adventure!

what we've been up to

Christmas break has come and gone but we had a wonderful time of travel and visiting with family. Last week we started our second semester here at the Missionary Training Center in Missouri.  As you can see from the pictures below we have just been enjoying life as parents and all that it entails. Jamen still likes it when Jon plays the guitar, he'll listen and dance to the music (guitar or otherwise). 

Jamen just discovered just the other day that all the books on the book shelf come off!

Jamen continues to grow bigger...sort of... He's up to 26.5 inches long and 16lb 11oz and he is 9.5 months. His hair is long enough to spiking now and he's getting closer to walking. He has four teeth and five and six are due any day now.

 

He's also at a fun age for having his friends over to play...its fun to watch.

I'll be home for Christmas...

That's right we are headed to the cold northeast... New Hampshire to exact. My family is up there and we will be spending Christmas and ringing in the New Year up where the snow falls and the ice makes it impossible to get around. It will be fun though, we haven't been back since we got married 2 1/2 years ago and Jamen will get see the Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. I'm sure we'll have lots to tell you about when we get back but in the mean time may you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

Some friends are letting us borrow a jumping thing, for lack of a better term, for Jamen and it only fits in our bathroom door; which is why you have a lovely view of our toilet.

You're wrong if you guess messing his pants...he learned he can suck on his lips different ways and it make a popping noise. Thats what he's doing in the following pictures...
