Browntown Days

So, this post is over a week late in being posted but thanks to those of you who prayed for us while were at Browntown Baptist Church last week with the oppurtunity of preaching in their Sunday morning service. It was a great time and I felt completely at home and relaxed there unlike any previous speaking engagement that I have had. That is due in part to Pastor Chris Johnson and his wife Daniella for making us feel so welcome and free to share actual truth from the Bible and also due to the group of believers who meet together there for making us feel welcome as well.

The message was out of James 2:14-26. The title of the Message was "Faith. You can't see it, smell it, hear it, taste it, or touch it. We took a look into the practical need of works in the Christian life, as our faith without works isn't much help to those in need. At the end we tied that into missions and how our faith in our churches won't reach the ends of the earth unless we do something to take the gospel out. To listen to the audio from this sermon (it's about 35 minutes long) click here. You might be able to enjoy if you can block out the million times I say the word "um" while I'm speaking.

Sorry no pictures, we forgot our camera
